He served. He came home. And decades later, his hands — the same hands that answered that call — picked up new tools and made this.
This bullwhip was handcrafted by a Vietnam-era veteran and VFW member as part of the Hope Lives On Return to Art program — a space where people who have carried extraordinary weight are given permission to create without explanation, without pressure, and without an audience demanding anything from them.
