For many Missourians — especially those who have lived through trauma, poverty, chronic stress, or years of invisibility — dignity has been chipped away piece by piece. Not because they lacked worth, but because the world around them didn't reflect it back. When someone has spent years feeling unseen, unsupported, or unheard, dignity becomes something they forget they're allowed to have.
This pillar restores that birthright.
